What is Esports Betting?
Esports (Electronic Sports) are competitive gaming events played on computers or mobile phones. They cover international and regional tournaments and have grown into a digital sport with hundreds of millions of fans worldwide.
Esports betting at mya88 works in a similar way to football betting. You can bet before a match starts or while it is live, pick the Esports game and tournament you want, and browse the available odds.
Esports betting requires a bit more technical knowledge compared to football, boxing or basketball, but for players who already know the game well it can be more enjoyable since you are betting in a field you understand.

Understanding Esports Betting Markets
Esports betting has markets similar to football betting, plus markets specific to each game. Below are the most common market types you'll find at mya88.
Match Winner
Predict which team will win the entire tournament and place your bet.
Map / Game Winner
Bet on each individual map in Dota 2 and CS2.
Handicap
Just like football handicap betting, the odds are adjusted to level the playing field.
Live / In-Play
Bet with real-time odds while a tournament is live.
How to Read Odds
Odds represent the probability of an outcome as a number. mya88 uses Decimal Odds. For example — if Team A's odds are 1.80, a bet of 10,000 Ks returns 18,000 Ks, giving you a profit of 8,000 Ks.
Reading the odds also tells you how a match is expected to go. A team with lower odds is the favorite with a higher chance of winning, while a team with higher odds is the underdog — but if they win, you get a bigger payout.
In live esports events, odds shift in real time based on how the game is progressing, so making quick decisions is key to getting the best odds.
Odds Reading Summary
- Decimal Odds × Stake = Expected Return
- No odds below 1.0
- Lower odds = higher chance of winning
- Higher odds = bigger payout if you win
- Live odds change fast
